About Compressed and Liquified Natural Gas (CNG) Technology
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and liquified Natural Gas (LNG) are both alternative fuels that offer a cleaner, more efficient way to power internal combustion engines. These technologies play a crucial role in reducing harmful emissions compared to traditional diesel and gasoline engines, significantly lowering carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter (PM) in exhaust gases.
CNG is stored in compressed form, while LNG is cooled to a liquid state for storage. Both are widely used in the transportation industry for trucks, buses, and even off-road machinery. As cleaner-burning fuels, CNG and LNG technologies are essential for meeting stringent emissions standards like Euro 6 and EPA regulations while contributing to reduced environmental impact.
